34 years, Lina Khan gave TV interviews and press conferences to defend the administration’s new tough-on-mergers stance. The long day is going to pay off as she will provide the opportunity and desire to the next generation of law students to change and fix many things. Also, more cordial members joined the chair of the Federal Trade Commission.
She made her way by squeezing into the corner of a bar steps, from the White House. She encouraged new-generation law students to join the growing antitrust movement. The law students are just as young as her.
Lina Khan said to whoops and cheers, “This is just the very, very, very, very beginning of this work, and we need all of you to be in this movement, to be coming into government, to bring all your skills and talents to bear”.
She gave an inspirational speech to law students. She is a speaker on corporate giants including Amazon and Microsoft. She was not the only one who took all the attention, a few minutes later the Justice Department’s chief antitrust enforcer Jonathan Kanter, and his top deputy, Doha Mekk showed up.
Students and others exchanged congratulatory “Happy merger guidelines day” respectfully. The movement has reached law schools or farms across the country that Lina Khan helped to build, attracting scores of trustbusters mini-mes.
