The Parliamentary Committee of Home Affairs on Monday made an adoption of three bills that are going to replace the pre-existing laws about criminality.
All of the 10 members of the opposition are going to be submitting their dissent notes regarding this move.
The committee could not make the adoption report during its previous meeting which was conducted on the 27th of October – as many of the members of the Opposition leaders had asked for more time to read the three reports on the “about to be introduced” 3 new laws, which are going to replace the Indian Evidence Act, The Code Of Criminal Procedure and the Indian Penal Code.
They are going to be replaced with “Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam”, “Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita” and “Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita” (not necessarily in order) respectively.
