Law Firms On A Global Scale Are Falling Short On Practicing Responsible Business

Responsible Business

A lot of the largest law firms in the world are now failing to uphold their commitments to conducting responsible business for their clients, according to reports by the “Lamp House Strategy”.

The annual report of “Lamp House Strategy” showed that less than even a quarter of the firms are known to publish responsible holistic business reports. The firms are falling short in a vast range of areas including sustainability and diversity.

When it comes to governance, social, and environmental matters, almost all, of the firms fail to demonstrate the way they review new instructions and clients from the perspective of an ESG.

All the while, only about twenty-six percent of the firms actively measure their Scope 2 and 1 carbon emissions.
