Sutherland International of Eversheds has taken a small group of staff and partners, who were formerly under the King And Wood Mallesons’ (KWM), as a part of an agreement of cooperation between the two firms – this was announced back in the month of July.
The group that is going to move across to the office of Eversheds London includes a total of ten lawyers, five partners and eight staff of business services. These people represent the London’s office of KWM.
This deal also means that KWM is going to have to close down a total of 6 of their offices located in the region of Europe, UK and Middle East. A few chosen staff from them are going to have to join Eversheds and be subject to their practice needs.
The 5 London partners who are moving across are – Barri Mendelsohn, Greg Stonefield, Wilson Antoon, Joseph Newitt and James McKenzie.
