The law firm of Foot Anstey has now launched a novel scheme regarding vacation for the aspiring lawyers who belong from the under-represented minority ethnic and Black backgrounds.
The programme which has been given the name “Achieve” is going to see all of the candidates spend one week in discovering what life is going to be like as a trainee at Southampton, Bristol or Exeter offices.
The people who are eligible in this programme are going to be able to take part in “Masterclass Sessions” where they are going to be presented with a chance of developing various commercial knowledge and legal skills. They might also get the opportunity of contributing to several live cases as well.
The firm has said that as a part of this scheme, the candidates are going to go through an assessment center at their firm – and the successful people are going to be able to get a training contract.
